How long will the course take?

This course can be completed in as little as 8 months with the average person taking around 12-15 months. We allow up to 24 months to complete the course with extensions available upon request and acceptance.

What different study options can I have?

Can I speak directly with a trainer based in Australia?

Yes of course.

All our Trainers and Assessors are based in Australia. Even though this is a self-paced course you can engage one on one a trainer to assist with your questions if required. They will help you understand and get you back on track.

Are there any entry requirements?

There are no entry requirements into the Diploma of Project Management.

However, completing the Certificate IV in Project Management Practice prior to starting the Diploma can be a helpful baseline of knowledge.

What are the course details?

Realistic Training Options provides a self-paced online study approach through an online, hardcopy or blended learning options. This method of learning provides a flexible approach that can be easily adapted to integrate into personal and work schedules. Consistently study is important to achieve completion within the course duration. To help you stay on track all participants have direct access to their own trainer and assessor and automatic on track assistance through our internal Learning Management System.

For students choosing any online study, access to a computer that with a sturdy internet connection is a must. Being able to handle video chat such as Zoom can be an assistance but not necessary. For students choosing any hardcopy study, access to a mailbox to receive the workbooks is a necessity.

What type of assessments will there be?

Assessments will differ depending on the unit of competency you are studying, but will range from, Question and Answer, Assignments and or Practical Tasks carried in a workplace or simulated environment.

Can I get Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Yes, if you have enough experience in the industry with a high level of knowledge and ability, you can apply for RPL. You will be required to prove your abilities against each unit of competency for RPL by providing various types and amounts of evidence as directed.
