Realistic Training Options provides a self-paced online study approach though an online, hard copy or blended learning options. This method of learning provides a flexible approach that can be easily adapted to integrate into personal and work schedules. Consistent study is important to achieve completion within the course duration. To help you stay on track all participants have direct access to their own trainer and assessor and automatic on track assistance through our internal Learning Management System.

For students choosing any online study, access to a computer that with a sturdy internet connections is a must. Being able to handle video chat such as Zoom can be an assistance but not necessary. For students choosing any hard copy study, access to a mailbox to receive the workbooks is a necessity.

What type of assessments will there be?

Assessments will differ depending on the unit of competency you are studying, but will range from, Question and Answer, Assignments and or Practical Tasks carried in a workplace or simulated environment.

Can I get Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Yes, if you have enough experience in the industry with a high level of knowledge and ability, you can apply for RPL. You will be required to prove your abilities against each unit of competency for RPL by providing various types and amounts of evidence as directed.
